Dr. Powell And Dr. Tiller | Meet Our Austin Dentists
Serving Austin, Round Rock, And Surrounding Areas Of Texas
Both Dr. Powell and Dr. Tiller received their D.D.S. Degrees from
the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in
1994. Both doctors graduated with honors. They were also both inducted
into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the dental honor society, upon graduation.
Drs. Powell and Tiller have both published and presented research,
which not only helps them in treating their patients, but also allows
them to better review and evaluate research done by others. They
are also a both members of the Academy of General Dentistry, an
organization committed to continuing dental education. Members must
attain more than twice the hours of continuing dental education
than required by the Texas State Board for licensure. Through their
continuing study of the latest research and commitment to continuing
education, the doctors are able to provide their patients with the
latest proven new techniques and proven better
materials as they become available.
Dr. Powell and Dr. Tiller are also both committed to volunteering their dental skills to benefit the community with such services as the Theo Project, for underprivileged school children. They also promote dental health by educating children at area schools on healthy dental habits.
Dr. Juli Powell
Dr. Powell is a native Austinite having graduated from Anderson High School in 1986. She graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1990 with her B.S. in Biology. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Chuck, and their wonderful children Lily and Matthew. She and her husband (a graduate of Indiana University) enjoy watching college basketball especially during the NCAA tournament. She also enjoys teaching Sunday School, leading her daughter's Brownie troop, and volunteering at her children's schools.
Dr. Ada Tiller
Dr. Tiller is from Eagle Pass, Texas. She came to Austin in 1986 to attend the University of Texas. She graduated in 1990 with her B.A. in Biology. She and her husband, Mike (also a U.T. graduate) along with their two children, Christopher and Katie, can frequently be spotted in the stands during U.T. football games. She enjoys volunteering her time at her children's school and taking family trips to the lake.
